TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking & Check-In

Your reservation is guaranteed until 11:59 pm ET., the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned.


Depot Village will charge your credit card within 1 day after we have confirmed your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation, if we


do not receive the Pre-Payment Deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking. 

We offer courtesy early-check in - when possible - upon request.

Payment

The balance of the full apartment rental amount is payable the day of arrival. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and deposit


pre-authorization for the room/apartment has been received and approved.


Key

An apartment code - digital key - is provided at check-in time after the full rental amount has been paid.



Cancellation

A deposit of 50% of your first night's rate is taken on all reservations at the time of reservation. This is a one-time fee that will be applied to the balance of the guest's reservation at check-in. 


Weekday cancellations require a minimum of 4 days' notice. After this time, you will be held responsible for the full balance of your reservation.


If your reservation includes a Friday or a Saturday, cancellations require a minimum of 7 days' notice. After this time, you will be held responsible for the full balance of your reservation.


Cancellations for groups of 5 rooms or more require a minimum of 45 days' notice. After this time, you will be held responsible for the full balance of your reservation.


If you cancel your reservation within the grace period as defined above, your deposit will be refunded in full.

After the grace-period as defined above, NO refunds are given unless there is a mandatory evacuation in our area.



Check-Out

Check-out at 11am ET. As a courtesy, please let us know if you are checking out earlier than 11:00 am. 


We offer courtesy late-check out - when possible - upon request. Please note that a detailed inspection of the room/apartment is made after check-out,


and we reserve the right to charge for any damages.


Damages

During your stay, the apartment and all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to Depot Village


staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the apartment. You (The Tenant) is financially responsible for any damage to the apartment. This


includes losses caused by you (The Tenant) or third-party negligent actions and behavior. A summary check will be made of the apartment at check-out


time. However, a more detailed review of the condition of the apartment and all equipment and facilities will be made soon after check-out, before another


guest occupies the apartment. The Tenant is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In


this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email immediately. Any costs due to


damage will be deducted from the deposit. If the cost of the damage is more than the deposit amount, the tenant will be charged accordingly.

We are 2 blocks south of Main Street, 4 blocks east of University Avenue.


Look for THE YELLOW HOUSE & the silver & black wall, across from GRU's parking lot.\



Parking

Free street parking on SE 2nd Street and SE 4th Lane.


Free parking in the GRU city lot across the street from The Yellow House: weekdays, 6pm to 6am and weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed inside Depot Village accommodations. 


There is a $250 fine if ANY evidence of smoking (odor, physical, etc.) is found inside any of our accommodations. 

We are cannibas card/CBD friendly, outside only, in our courtyard and our "TREE" HOUSE.


Please be mindful of your neighbors.



Pets

Depot Village loves pets, especially dogs (sorry, no cats).


A non-refundable pet fee of $50 will be charged for the duration of your stay. 


Please provide your own pet crates, beds and food bowls.


Please clean up after your pet inside and around our property or additional cleaning fees will be assessed and charged to your account.


No more than two (2) pets per room.


Any damage caused by pets will be documented, assessed and charged accordingly to your account.


If guests bring pets but don't pay our pet fee, Depot Village reserves the right to charge a $50 fine per pet, per night, and/or terminate the rental


agreement



Quiet Time

Quiet time is 10:00pm - 10:00am. *Unless guest rents entire property for private events.



Accessibility

There are limited accessible features available for disabled guests at the present time.


Lost Items

Depot Village is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal items anywhere on the premises.

Termination of Agreement

Depot Village has the right to terminate the rental agreement if: 


  • More guests stay in the property than agreed. Depot Village reserves the right to charge $50 for each additional guest per night if applicable. 


  • Excessive noise is made during quiet time.

 

  • Sub-letting the property you have rented (or giving it to other people).
